Lionclaw padded into his den. His gold ears flicking in irritation.
"Kits gotta hurry up and grow," he muttered as he started to clean the mess of moss.

She looked quitly down,"I did, I was cleaning all the dens for the warriors so they don't have to do it and then I was coming back here to put the moss away, I'm sorry" she mewed

Lionclaw shook his head "No my nest is fine," he flicked his tail. The kit was very considerate and caring, she could become a medicine cat...
"Do you want to help me reorganize some herbs would you rather go back and play in the nursery.

Ravensong padded into the den, the deputies black splotched fur sleek and shimmering in the weak morning light.
"Lionclaw," She murmured, dipping her head, "Could you look at this scratch? I got it from a rock in the territory when I slipped while hunting, its not very deep, but its long and twinges, Noisystar sent me to make sure it isn't infected" She mewed, motioning to a thin cut on her right shoulder, it was thin, but the deputy was wrong, it was deep.
The cut was red and puffy and had some pus building up in the linings, it smelled sour, she had waited about a quarter of a moon to see the med. cat, maybe not such a smart idea.

Lionclaw nodded and flicked his tail "Come with me Skykit, Ravensong start cleaning around your wound," Lionclaw disappeared behind the entrance of his herb stash.
"Burdock root is used to stop infection, so here we need this," he handed Skykit a root. Deciding to test her common sense he asked "Do you think we need to get herbs for anything else? Like do we need another herb, you don't have to give names. Just function,"

She sniffed them,"Dock good for scratchs, lavender cures fevers also known for being used for vigils, and Honey, sore throats"
