She smiled down kindly at the kit, "So your the kit Lionclaw was gushing about" She purred, "You must be pretty good with the herbs, it takes quite a lot to make him smile" She chuckled, smiling amiably at Lionclaw

Lionclaw laughed "I don't gush, but yes Skykit is very good with herbs, I thinking maybe, if she wishes, when she is old enough, I will ask to take her as an apprentice,"

Lionclaw looked down at the kit, half amused and half shocked. Who would be so excited to faint? Then again he did have that power...

Lionclaw looked down at Skykit and prodded her with his paw "Skykit?" he meowed cautiously. "This could mean either A. she is sick," he looked at Ravensong gravely "Or B. she is very excited as is everybody else about being around to listen to my very awsome lectures everyday until she joins the elders," he purred and grabbed a wet moss ball and poured some of the water on Skykit's face.

Lionclaw nodded and disappeared behind his den to trapeze with a creamed leaf that has been blended by him. The strong scent was bitter as he placed it on her wound "Good, now eat these and rest. Tomorrow morning I want you back," handing her poppy seeds he took a step back

The deputy reluctantly lapped up the seeds, cringing at their taste and texture.
"How you can chew those things up everyday I'll never know!" She muttered to herself before dipping her head to the med cat, "Ill come back in as soon as I go on a hunting patrol at dawn" She mewed, padding out of the med cats den

She sighed, bowing her head, "But the camp is so boring!" She whined, "We don't have any Queens, so that means no kits to entertain me, and theres nothing to do around here to help"
It was pretty obvious she was getting agitated.

(Gah soo behind. But I don't think I'm medicine cat anymore  ) Lionclaw nodded and fetched a poppy seed the small seeds stick to his paw as he gave two to the cat, not wanting to give him too much. |
