Mintkit padded in the Medicine Cats' Den. She hoped to become the Medicine Cat's apprentice. Looking around, the gray and white kit hoped for Leopardpaw to show up. In the middle of the den, she sat down. Mintkit turned her neck to look for the herb storage. Maybe if I am lucky, Leopardpaw would teach me the herbs and what they do, she wondered.

Nightstar followed the kit into the den, laughing. "We have an apprentice for you, Leopardpaw!" She meowed, nudging the kit forward into the den more.

A light breeze blew her scent into the den, as soon as it came it was gone

Mintkit turned around, seeing Nightstar nudging her deeper into the den.
"Why hello there Nightstar," The kit mewed politely, dipping her head like how she saw other cats doing.

Mintkit stretched her hind legs. Sitting down, she felt bored.
"Nightstar," Mintkit began,"Can I be Leopardpaw's apprentice?" She looked at her leader with a pleading look in her eyes.

Pheonixheart appeared through the Cherry Blossom Breeze,"a Star in the Night,Must Take Four cats, Thy must Venture East and Recover the fallen" She meowed as she continued,"The four cats you must take: a Storm of Snow, A crow foot, a kit of a Rose and a Mint" she meowed as she disappeard (Ravensong, I have permisson by Nightstar of this Prophecy)

Nightstar stared at the spirit in amazement. "Phoenixheart!" She squealed. "Does this kit have the power of the stars in her paws? Can she be a medicine cat? The apprentice of Leopardpaw?"

"What was that?" Mintkit opened her tiny mouth, surprised at the mysterious voice.
"Does the prophecy include me?" Mintkit demanded, turning around to face her leader. She was confused by what she was hearing.
"Will I be Leopardpaw's apprentice?" The silver kit squealed, bouncing around the den.

"Yes, the prophecy included you. You will come on the quest, and heal the cats. Pheonixheart will visit you in your dreams." She mewed.

"Who's Pheonixheart?" Mintkit asked,"Is she a MoonClan warrior?" She looked up at Nightstar, her eyes wide.
"What is the prophecy about?" The silver kit sat on the ground, excited by the MoonClan Spirit's prophecy.

Nightstar repeated the prophecies to the kit. "You must be the next medicine cat. You must work hard young one, come with me. I will train you in the ways of the warrior, then Leopardpaw can take over. Come, we are going to the gathering clearing."
