The young kitten stepped outside into the crisp, cool fresh air; excited for autumn. He had never experienced autumn. Being only less than a moon old, Badgerkit was still curious and playful as ever; but had his deep thinking and oblivious times of course. Random times when he would zone out into his own world and imagine things. Imagine what it would be like when he was a warrior. Imagine being a dog, twoleg and monster even. Most kits thought he was sometimes... odd, but he didn't care. He liked the way he was.
His pads crunched in the frost, sending tingles up his lanky legs. Wide eyed, Badgerkit took another step. The same sensation hit him. Purring, the little tom took a jump and started sliding across the clearing, squealing as he went. The kitten did this many more times, smiling with delight.

Tigeress watched the kit as he slid across the early morning frost. "Aren't you up early young one?" She had been up all night guarding camp, she looked wide awake however.

BADGERKIT ! [/size] Badgerkit stopped what he was doing the instant he heard the voice. Looking around, nose quivering, he spotted a she-cat. Clearing his throat, and puffing out his chest, the little tom responded with a confident, "No. All warriors get up early," lifting his chin up the patched tom added, "I'm practicing for when I need to get up for patrols !" He mewed, determination in his mew. Being a warrior was his life.
"And slidding in this slippery stuff too!" The feline pawed at the sparkly white frost that looked like stars to him.
[/size] SOOTKIT ![/size] "No. All warriors get up early."
"You're not a warrior, Badgerkit!" She yowled at her brother, always trying to pick a fight. The grey she-kit made her way over to the two, warrior and kit, slipping over the sparkly stuff as she went.
She butted her head into his shoulder and looked up to the warrior. "Hello!" The kitten squeaked. "Are you a warrior?!" Her eyes looked wide, almost not believing she was seeing a warrior. "I'm Sootkit! And this is my brother Badgerkit." She gave him another nudge.

Ripplekit padded into the nursery "Hello Tigress." He dipped his head to the warrior. He still didn`t like the idea of her joining but he always respects warriors. He looked at the too new kits "Hello Im Ripplekit. Well soon to be Ripplepaw." He said proudly. "What are your names?" He asked.
