Cranberrytail padded cautiously from her den as an unfamiliar scent washed over her nose.
Crinkling it, she padded into the clearing to stand beside Rasberrystar, but all thought of asking who the new cat was fled her mind as the injured cat came into her view.
She immediately ran over to the cat and started sniffing at his wounds. Recoiling slightly as her nose grazed the long scratch on the toms foreleg. It's scent was slightly dirty, hopefully she could tend to it before it spread and caused an infection.
"Come with me, you need tending to now." She mewed to the rogue then turned to Rasberrystar, 'Why didn't you get me sooner! This tom obviously needs our help!" She chastised, "You can question him later!" She mewed rather forcefully.
That gleam in her eyes had returned, the one where you knew she wasn't about to give up easily

"Cranberrytail, stop making a fool of yourself in front of our visitor.", Raspberrystar snapped, turning to the medicine cat. "I'm sorry about the...interruption, Torrent. Our medicine cat is very hasty.", she continued, flicking Cranberrytail with her tail tip.
"Darksplash, please escort Torrent to the medicine cat's den. Brighteyes, please bring fresh-kill to him. Cranberrytail, heal his wounds. You are all dismissed. If you need me, I will be in my den.", the golden she-cat meowed, dipping her head slightly to Torrent. She turned around, heading for her own den.

"Yes ma'am." she mewed in her super-quiet way.
In one quick and swift motion, she ran past the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a small rabbit in her jaws, and dashed after Cranberrytail, slipping in right before the other two. She dropped it by where Torrent's nest would be, then slipped out, with another dipp of her head.

"Ah, um, thank you." He dipped his head to the leader and looked at the medicine cat thankfully as well and gave her a small nod. He followed her into the medicine cat den. He looked at the prey Brighteyes had brought him. He had no appetite. Especially the taste of blood. Right now...he just felt a bit empty. "I dont realy need the prey..."

"Now now, you need to eat if you want to regain your strength." She tutted, sniffing at his wounds, "How did you get this again?" She mewed, padding over to a small crack in the rocks that was the entrance to her herb supply room.

Even although she was not accepted by Cranberrytail, Darksplash followed her in. She sat by Torrent, her muscles rippling under her smooth pelt. Eyes alert, Ears pricked, she stood watch.

Torrent was caught off guard by the question. What exactly was he supposed to say? He didn't want to trouble them with his past. "Uh, I..." He stammered and stopped. He wasn't sure what to say. In the end, the truth just shot out of his mouth on it's own. And his ears burned in embarrassment and shame. "My sister."

Torrent felt a little dizzy from the questions. He felt lightheaded and short of breath. His ears burned with shame. But they had a right to know, they were helping him. "K-Killed...her."

Cranberrytail looked curiously at Torrent for a moment before shoving a couple juniper berries and thyme leaves towards him, "This will help you calm down and relieve the shock" She mewed kindly before setting to work on the pulp to put on the wounds.
She chewed up some marigold, raspberry leaves and wild garlic then mixed it together and placed it on both cuts.
"It might sting a bit but it will keep it from getting infected and it will take the current infection out" She mewed, wrapping a swath of cobwebs around the wounds, "I'd like you to sleep in here for a night or two just so I can keep an eye on you, okay?" She mewed

Torrent blinked in surprise. Her voice brought him out of his daze. He dipped his head to the medicine cat. "Thank you very much." He wondered what his name would be. All clan cats had two part names.

Darksplash laid down next to his nest. "I'll keep him company if you wish, Cranberrytail." She didn't know if Cranberrytail would respond with hisses and threats or by thanking her, but she would go either way.

She nodded before retreating to her nest and curling up into a ball, "If you need anything just wake me" She mumbled before falling to sleep
