Ravenflight Why does bye annoyance fail? Green eyes flickered open, whiskers twitched, and a grumble rose from the mouth of the StormClan deputy. She rose out of her cozy nest in the Warrior's den and shook herself awake. It was before dawn, and no one else was awake. She grabbed a bit of prey and quickly gulped it down, then proceeded through the StormClan camp. She silently walked through the darkness, the only thing visible being her green eyes. She continued walking, when a storm came from nowhere. Lightning flashed across the eyes, thunder crashed, and the wind howled. Yet, Ravenflight continued to walk, until she came to a familiar spot.
It was simply a large sand hill, that looked like a dune. She climbed upwards, until she sat on top of the great thing. She sat quietly, watching the storm rage. And, she felt safe. Completely safe, like a kit bundled in its mothers fur. She did not know why, but there was something comforting about this place. It was... beautiful to her. Fear was absent. Hatred was dead. And happiness was simply incomplete. What could make her feel better? Kits? Nay. Two-legs? Nay! A mate? A friend? Possibly. But all she knew now was that this beautiful, beautiful storm was the answer.
A streak of lightning flew across the black sky, and flashed into her eyes. The thunder rolled, and yet, the she-cat still sat, observing. As if the storm was her blanket.

Darksplash woke to a loud crack of thunder. With a shiver, she stood. She sniffed, and Ravenflight's scent hit her nose. "Where is that deputy..." She muttered, following her faint scent trail. She saw Ravenflight perched on a hill, and decided not to bother her. Lightning flashed, and thunder boomed... close. Darksplash dove into a bramble bush, quivering with fear.

The scent of Darksplash flew into the deputy's nose, and she rolled her eyes. She watched the storm rage for another moment, and then walked down the hill. Ravenflight's green eyes twinkled brightly as she walked towards the bramble bush. "Now, now, Darksplash, what happens to bring you out here at this time of night?" she asked. She laughed to herself as she saw that the she-cat was hiding in a bramble bush. That will be fun to get out of her pelt. she thought.

Darksplash poked her head out of the bush. "I was following your scent, when thunder boomed so close I thought my fur would fall out. I was seeing what you where out here doing." Darksplash looked guilty. More thunder boomed, and Darksplash shot back under the bush again. She didn't like to admit it, but she was pretty scared of thunderstorms.
(Ugh. I had to go get allergy shots and see what allergies I have today. I'm allergic to like, everything. Even Willow trees.)

(That sucks. Hope it was a fluke. "Oh, Darksplash, there is no need to worry your pretty little head about me. I know this territory like the back of my paw." she said, with a short laugh. She rolled her eyes yet again at the she-cat. Afraid of storms? You're in StormClan! she thought, but of course, Ravenflight wasn't afraid of much. Not storms, not fire, not water. Well, she didn't exactly enjoy fire or water, but she wasn't exactly terrified of them, either. She then stood, watching the storm rage on, and on. Beauty. Pure beauty. [/color]
