Frostkit couldn't sleep that night. She watched her family sleep in peace. I wish I could go to sleep...hey! Why don't I go explore?!? She thought to herself. She krept outside of the den and slipped behind it. There was a secret tunel that lead to the forest. Once she was out of the camp, she was bubbling with excitment. She looked at the sky, stars, moon, trees. She had been walking for a while and wanted to sit somewhere. Her eyes grew big with excitment when she found a big rock pile. She climbed up on it and lied down.

A black she-cat slunk through the forest, almost like a shadow. She pounced on a mouse, and it's cry of terror echoed through the forest. As Nightstar was returning to camp, she found Frostkit outside. "Frostkit. What are you doing out here? What if there was a fox? Can you imagine how worried your mother would be?" She asked the kit. "Back in the camp, alright?"

Startled by Nightstar's voice, Frostkit jumped and almost rolled off the rock. Then when she heard her say fox, her body shut down and she did the only thing she new to do, back up into a safe spot. So she continued to back up when she fell over the rock. She clinged to the edge and tried to hold on but Frostkit knew that she was slipping. Then...she fell.

leopardsong was out looking for herbs as she saw the young kit, frostkit fall form a rockpile. She quickly swurred over to frostkit and caught the kit wiht her jaws. She layed the kit gently down. "why where you out of camp?! you do know kits have to stay in the nursery"

Nightstar ran over and lifted Frostkit by the scruff of her neck, cooing. "It's okay, Frostkit. Just go back into the nursery with Snowstorm and Ashkit...." She mewed, bringing the kit back into the camp. She dropped her in the Nursery, by Snowstorm's side. Nightstar had confined her deputy to the nursery to look after her kits, as there wasn't enough space in the leader's den. Nightstar padded back outside of camp, to Leopardsong's side. "Want to do some herb hunting?" She asked her daughter.

Frostkit opened her eyes "Why am here? I want my mommy!!!" she yowled.

she looked up at her mother. "ya sure. shouldn't we stay with frostkit or give frostkit some herbs for shock?"

"AAAHHH! More weird cats! I WANT MY MOMMY!!" She ran around screaming "I DON'T WANT TO BE IN MOONCLAN!"

leopardsong quickly went back to her store and grabbed some thyme to help for shock. " don't worry frostkit your not in moonclan. it this." she mewed shoving thyme in front of frostkit. "once you eat this you will see your mommy"

Her eyes widened "Really?!" She ate the herbs then spit them out "They taste gross!"

she growled. she lifted the kit up and put her in front of snowstorm. "there is your mommy!"
