The growing gray patched kit padded out of the nursery, yawning. Leopardcloud made her take a nap. "Sure." She yawned. She walked out to a sun-warmed rock. The rock was extra warm because of the drought. Tinykit yawned and curled up onto the rock, leaving enough room for Leopardcloud.

Tinykit purred, and touched her small nose to the bottom of Leopardcloud's chin.

Sunstream pdded over to see her mother"Hi Leopardcloud!"She purred dropping a leaf on the ground"Eat up!" she then nosed Tinykit to make sure she was heathy
