Featherkit sighed she was never gonna become a apprentice now that brooksplash said she couldnt be a medicine cat she shook her head and padded out looking around at the nursery she sighs and closes her eyes thinking of what it would be like to be leader or medicine cat she shook her pelt as she itched her ear "If i am never to be a medicine cat apprentice i might as well just head to the elders den" she sighs then looks at brooksplash "Im going to go to the elders den sense ill never become a apprentice" she mews

She sighed, "Featherkit why mist you be so dramatic? You must learn to control your temper, the med cats do not just heal those they like they heal the whole Clan" She murmured, "So if I tell you who your father was and who is to be your mentor as a med cat will you stop exploding at every tiny thing?" She mewed sternly

"Ll as you know, greencough swept through the camp slowly killing off every cat except me, I was always in the nursery, no one was allowed to see me because they were afraid I would get greencough and my kits wouldn't be born." She mewed quietly, "But before I found I was with kit, I started training to be the next SnowClan med cat under Berrywhisker, he was the med cat. But, as my training progressed I fell for him and he for me, he was your father." She murmred, her mewed barely audible.
"We were the last two alive in the Clan, he had told me hebcouldnt come see me in the nursery until his greencough was gone, I waited for almost a Moon without any sound from him. I began to worry, he had been sick, but used his herbs on the others, all in vain, he only had a small supply left.
It was about a half moon before we were all moved to the gathering clearing when I finally decided to go get him. When I padded into his den the scent of death had reached my nose, he was dead, by the looks of him he had been for over half a moon." She whimpered, tears glistening in her eyes, "So I buried him then went to the clearing and had you guys" She took a shaky breath, "I will be mentoring both of you, Featherkit as a med. cat and Dovekit as a warrior"
